Eravikulam National Park is situated towards the Coimbatore route from Munnar. The place is a must visit if you are in Munnar. People visit mainly to take a glimse of the Nilgiri Tahr and the Neelakurinji flower that blossoms once in every 12 years and covers the entire hill. Unforetunately we missed the Neelakurinji view, but still we managed to take a glimpse of the Nilgiri Tahr.

The main thing is the mini bus ride to the top they included with the ticket. After that we walk to the top view. On the way we can see the mountains covered with mist.

Eravikulam National Park is administered by the Kerala Department of Forests and Wildlife, Munnar Wildlife Division, which also runs the nearby Mathikettan Shola National Park, Anamudi Shola National Park, Pambadum Shola National Park, Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary and the Kurinjimala Sanctuary.
