Trivandrum to Munnar | Our Journey Begins Here | Kerala Trip

Our Kerala Trip starts here. We started our journey to explore Kerala and its wild natural beauty. We are traveling by our car(Maruti Swift). Current plan is to cover northern Kerala upto Calicut and cover almost all important places in South Kerala. We are starting our journey on 21st December 2019 at 4.30 am from our home and planning to get back home within a week. Our first destination is Munnar, the Kashmir of South India. The roads are quite good till around Thodupuzha. You can enjoy the drive. But while nearing to Munnar from around 50 kms, the roads are bit damaged though it is being tarred now, both of them causes good traffic jams. However, we reached around 2 o’ clock and checked in to Eden Holidays, Munnar. We got the hotel from booking website, and it is ok for the price paid and also considering the prime location. Try to stay near Munnar bus stand if you are interested in shopping and traveling to multiple places in a day, just like us.

The climate is very good(probably the best since we are here at the best time – December) misty, and gets really cold at night. There are lot of shopping areas nearby that sells tea, home made chocolates, which are the main targets of tourists. Also there are small good restaurants and bazaars nearby. Please join us on our journey to find the beauty of Kerala, God’s own country by subscribing to our channel and posting your valuable suggestions as comments below. Thanks a lot for watching.
